TNM Cancer Staging Privacy Policy
Effective January 20, 2026This policy explains what the TNM Cancer Staging app collects, why, and the choices you have. The app is an offline reference, and we keep data collection to what it needs to work and to improve.
Information we collect
Account email, collected only if you choose to sign in. Identifiers, an account identifier so your preferences can sync. Usage data, aggregate, in-app events (such as which cancer sites are opened) used to improve the reference. Purchase status, where applicable, received from the store; we never see card or payment details.
What we do not do
We do not track you across other apps or websites, we use no advertising identifiers or third-party advertising software, and we do not sell your data. Staging lookups run on your device.
How we use information
To run and improve the app, to deliver only what you opt into, and to answer support requests.
Service providers
We share the minimum needed with providers that run parts of the service: Google Firebase (authentication and database), and Apple and Google (sign in and purchases). Each processes data on our behalf.
Retention and deletion
You can delete your account and its data inside the app, under Settings, or contact us to do it for you. Usage records are kept only in aggregate.
Children
The app is intended for healthcare professionals and students of medicine and is not directed to children.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit using standard transport security, and access to stored data is restricted.
Your rights
You can access, correct, or delete your data. The fastest path is in-app account deletion. You may also contact us for any request.
