Interventions to improve vaccination coverage among children aged 12-23 months in urban slum areas of Asia: A systematic review and meta-analysis

In two randomized trials, children in intervention groups had about 2.7 times the odds of receiving the third dose of diphtheria, pertussis and tetanus vaccine. Across nine studies involving 37,405 children, strategies also improved other coverage measures, but bias, inconsistent results and questions about long-term sustainability limit confidence in their real-world impact.
Colonoscopy surveillance after colorectal cancer surgery: meta-analysis

In five trials involving 2,337 patients, colonoscopy surveillance detected more recurrences before symptoms and led to more curative-intent reoperations, but did not improve survival. About 159 colonoscopies were needed to find one recurrence; the trials were mostly decades old and included other surveillance methods, leaving colonoscopy's added value in modern care uncertain.
Full-Service Mobile Food Markets and Dietary Quality in Low-Income Housing Communities: A Randomized Clinical Trial

In a randomized trial across 12 subsidized housing sites, participants at mobile-market sites consumed 397 mg less sodium per day than those on a waiting list. The market did not improve overall diet quality or most other measures, and fewer than half of intervention participants shopped there in months 5 to 6; whether broader use would change results remains unknown.
